If you are traveling up the coast of Florida, you want to check out these beautiful spots! Panama City Beach has the softest white sandy beaches and the clearest water you'll ever see.

It was only a 9-hour drive to Panama City Beach from Miami and well worth the trip.

WHERE TO STAY IN PANAMA CITY BEACH

Carillon Beach Resort

This resort is a 7-minute walk from the beach and less than 10 minutes away from Pier Park. The room we stayed in had a queen-size bed, a small kitchen (equipped with kitchen, stove, sink) and living room space with a balcony view of a lake. There are also small shops and a cafe on the first floor with multiple photo ops!

WHAT TO DO IN PANAMA CITY BEACH

Pier Park

I highly suggest spending an afternoon in the pastel outdoor shops of Pier Park followed by sunsets on the beach. This place is full of options to eat and have fun with the whole family.

The entrance to Russell Fields Pier was $3 per person and honestly I think the views under the pier were so much nicer than the view from above. Here are some images:

Hook'd

This pier bar and grill had options for everyone! My favorite item on the menu was the alligator bites and a refreshing sweet iced tea. We sat outside in the back with a perfect view of the pier waiting for the sun to set.

The Breakfast Table

Don't be so fast to judge this one from the outside cause the service is spectacular and the breakfast is even more scrumptious. I had a classic breakfast (Cafe con leche, scrambled eggs, toast and bacon) and it barely cost a thing.

Tootsies Orchid Lounge

Listen to live music at Tootsies Orchid Lounge in the middle of the plaza or ride the famous sky wheel of Panama City Beach's Pier Park.

St. Andrews State Park is a must-see! Stay all day and enjoy the beach with family or take a boat ride and enjoy the crystal clear waters or just stick around for the jaw-dropping sunsets.
